Heyman | Brewers acquire Neil Walker from Mets

The Milwaukee Brewers and New York Mets have agreed to a trade that will send second baseman Neil Walker to Milwaukee, sources tell FanRag Sports. Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports was the first to report that a deal was close.

The 31-year-old infielder entered play on Saturday hitting .264/.339/.442 with 10 homers, 13 doubles and 27 RBIs over 73 games. He missed a chunk of the summer after suffering a torn hamstring attempting to leg out a hit.
